    Good point, Kelbro. I'll keep that in mind the next time I strop on the chrom. ox. I guess it's always better to strop just a few times and check the blade before continuing.

    30 laps on a pasted strop?? I have never needed that many but you're right, whatever it takes.

    That would have been a better way for me to phrase it. I have found that the less time spent on the pasted strops led to the longest intervals between going back to the hone.
