    Hello,
I was wanting to say thanks for the advice already put out there by the salty ones who were here before myself, it is very useful. My first razors are on there way as will be my first strop as I attempt to join the ranks.
Just want to add that this is a great forum full of awesome advice for those of us creeping our way towards a legendary shave, and I will be back frequently though I haven't much to offer.

    Respectfully,
    Crowmagnon

    Crow,

Don't sell yourself short. You have lots to offer: a fresh perspective!

Stick with it. It takes a while to get a good shave. You'll cut yourself, sometimes badly. Especially on the left side of your face, assuming you're right handed. But hang in there. It'll come naturally, soon enough.

I'm a relative newbie myself, but in less than 60 days, I'm getting great shaves with razors I honed myself! (Admittedly, I get even better shaves from the honemeisters' razors. Thanks Josh.)

    Please keep us posted.

Mike (Not grouchy at the moment)
