Thanked: 6Hello SRP Community
Just registered on the forum and wanted to say hello. I have been lurking for a week or two and decided it was time to join. Presently using DE and want to move on up to th straight. In fact I am looking for my first razor as I type this. I have been watching the boards here for a nice straight to get me started. I am patient and have an idea of what I want. I have done quite a bit of reading so I have some knowlege though not much. I will be asking a lot of questions so I asked for your patience in advance. Seems to be a great community. I am sure I will enjoy it.

Thanked: 2209Welcome to the SRP!
May I suggest you purchase your first straight razor from the SRP Classifieds section? Make sure it is honed and shave tested. This will save you a lot of grief later on. Please do not buy from Ebay without asking one of us first. We are always glad to steer a person away from junk razors. Just send a PM or post a thread.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
