Venus razors
I have been seeing 'Venus' straight razors at unbelievable prices. They are titanium coated and their advertisements are pretty convincing. But my pop always taught me that something that seems to good to be true usually is. Does anyone have any knowledge as to Venus products, razors, strops etc.???
Thanks
Reb Bahir

Do you have a link? Seems to me if it's a titanium coated blade it's probably a gimmick. Only coated blades I've ever seen are W&B diamond edges. And I don't think it's really "coated" so much as etched.

Those are Pakistani razors - if you're talking about these: http://www.venusworldwide.com/razors.htm
Which mean they are on the same level as Zeepks, Kreigars, etc. Notice the non-use of the word "quality" there.
They are junk. Save your money and look at the Classifieds for something that fits your price range.

You mean these: http://www.venusworldwide.com/razors.htm ??
If so, looking at the email contact in the bottom left corner, the email is- [email protected]
Doesn't the suffix .pk mean Pakistan? If so, these razors are junk. Same as Zeepk or any other poor quality steel. But hey, I've never used one, so I may be dead wrong.
I doubt it though.

The only Venus Razors I've heard of are the stupid fluffy Gillette ones!
Thanks for posting the link guys. I can see why people would be drawn to them with the pretty colours and all but they look poor quality when you have a close up look.
Personally I wouldn't touch one.
