Thanked: 53Colleen offers a nice sample pack for $15.95, you pick 5 soaps and 2 creams. And AOS and Trufitt & Hill will send you some free samples of cream, preshave oil etc. if you ask. Penhaligon sent me free cologne samples, and Trumper will send you a nice sample pack but you have to pay shipping, seems like it was under $10 but I could be wrong.

Hi Butch,
There's a bunch of small favorite vendors who offer sample sizes of their products, and I agree with the other member who suggested Colleen's products as a good place to start looking for unusual scents. Some of those are pretty amazing.
The other thing I'd suggest would be looking at the store over at The Shave Den and checking out the 'sampler pack' of 6 assorted creams. There's a nice selection of all three 'T's' to choose from, and I think CF may be offered in lavender. Then you got Nancy Boy and other unusual ones that are tough to come by. You can even get a sample of the Old Spice shaving cream, made with the original recipe. I've done business there many times and never a problem.
That might be the way to go if you wanna see what they smell like. It's pretty rare for a vendor to offer samples like this.
Hope that helps,
Martin
Oh.if you decide to try the sample pack at TSD, make sure to order a few sample's of JoAnna's soaps as well. She does an excellent 'lime' and also a really nice 'coconut', and it performs very well for me.Last edited by De Layne; 08-07-2008 at 11:05 PM.

I also saw via another thread that Trumper offers a sample pack via their website that is listed on the scrolldown menu of products under "Geo F Trumper Brochure".
