Hey a lot of people can relate to getting carried away with this whole razor thing. The simple fact is that all you need is one or maybe two razors, a strop, and, at most, a couple of hones for a lifetime of shaving. Anything beyond that is superfluous. The fact is that shaving with a straight razor is much cheaper than shaving with a disposable razor IF and only IF you stick to the basic necessities.

I can definitely relate to short finances in school. I went to an Ivy League college (read expensive) and got $2000 of support from my parents for each of the first three years. I covered the rest with between 3 and 8 part-time jobs. Money was always an issue. I spent so much time paying for school that I had little time to get the benefit of the school. Now, college expenses are much higher so I guess I'm glad that I'm old (no I'm not).

The nice thing about this forum is that if you do get carried away like you believe that you have, you are likely to be able to find someone to take your items off of your hands to recoup most of your expenses.

Good luck with your next year of college.
