I've returned to the straight after 20 years absence and I hope you all don't find this anathema but- I shave first with a cartridge razor, then use the straight- i find it gives a beautiful close shave after getting rid of the real hard stubble with the cartridge razor. Is this a good use of the straight or am I being a wimp? I have a real thick hard stubble and I find that the cartridge razor works a bit like a 'pre shave'! What do you all think- is it just that my straight isnt sharp enough?
