Thread: I was hoping I could make contact with somebody close by; to teach me better stroping

I bought a straight from the classifieds; and it was honed before it got to me.
I'm certain I didn't do a very good job stropping seeing as it pulled my hair; not a whole lot, but enough to make it not very comfortable. Anyways I was hoping somebody that lives within a few hours might be able to help me out.

I live in both Northern and Southern California, and drive back and forth about 10 times a year.
Northern CA
Butte County just north of Sacramento
Southern CA
Orange County; Newport beach area.

I really don't mind long drives.

Also if there was somewhere else I should have posted this please let me know.

Nope, posting here is fine, I think you want visibility to more experienced members, but there are always some who peruse this section to help out newbies.

Ok I'll try this somewhere else that may get more traffic. JMS that will be great; I'm not back in Southern California till the later half of November; so in the mean time I'm going to hope I can find somebody closer.
