Hello to all! This is my very first thread. It is great here, the people, the info, the administrators! Thank you Lynn Abrams for your dvd that I purchased and new pre-sharpened DOVO BERGISCHER LOWE straight razor! To the best of my knowlege Lynn honed and stropped my razor. I purchased it at Classic Shaving.com. I also ordered a Dovo extra wide russian leather strop. and Dovo styrel oil. I ordered it on the 15th of this month, it all arrived on the 17th. On the 18th I had my first Straight Razor Shave. it was good. Other than 7 nicks and a poke from the spanish point, they all closed fast with The Art of Saving lavender after shave balm and styptic pencil. With out the knowledge I learned here it would have been terrible. First, I wouldn't have got it pre-sharpened, 2.and l'd have a cheaper razor. Third, and probably most important, I wouldn't have purchased Lynn's dvd! I have been hovering around here for a couple of months, and you all have taught me a lot of info about the almost lost art of Straight Razor Shaving! I have 5 shaves now, and I proud to say tonight I had zero nicks or cuts. Thank you all for this wonderful information! STRAIGHT RAZOR 13.
