Thanked: 77Leather Razor Cases?
There seems to be a huge lack of leather or cloth cases for razors. I've seen the Dovo 2 and 7 razor travel cases (bought Don's used one on the classifieds last night). I'm thinking of something maybe with pockets and a flap that you could fold in half or roll up to keep your razors in a drawer, on the dresser, or in the medicine cabinet. Wouldn't have to have a closure, but maybe a tie string on a roll up one or a simple strap and slot type of affair on a folding leather one. Occurred to me that Tony probably has a lot of scrap leather for this application but probably less than zero time to produce yet another product. Something rustic would be great. Wouldn't need to be finished at all.
How come there doesn't seem to be a huge assortment of this sort of thing?

Most of us with more than a couple razors like to have them on display so I don't think there is a large demand for such an item.
You can buy a single leather case or if you are handy you could make your own. Another option would be to have a saddle shop make one for you.
Leather would probably be OK as long as it's well oiled but I'd be leery about storing my razors in cloth unless I oiled them.

I haven't seen the cloth ones yet, but i recall how nice Doc's leather one looks. Personally I would choose that one for traveling to events etc and cloth for storage

Thanked: 25I have been doing some very rough rolls, but I just ordered one from vgod. His are far better made and the one he made for me is excellent. I would suggest contacting him. I have a 16 razor roll. It folds in half 8 on a side then rolls and ties.
