    Default Introducing Myself

I just posted that there's a cheap Dremel on Woot today in the Workshop. Given that it's an odd first post -- long time reader, first-time poster -- I thought that I'd follow up with a quick introduction here.

My name is Paul and I've been shaving with a straight since about May. I like to think that I'm getting pretty good, but my neck and upper lip still present difficulties. Y'know, like for everyone else.

My first razor was a Dovo from Classic, but I picked up a King Kutter from eBay about a month ago, my first restoration try. I lost the etching because of some pits, but it shaves really well.

Umm...I use Colleen's Bay Rum w/ Sweet Orange as my main shave soap right now. I like Bay Rum, I've learned.

    Anyway, nice to be here.

    Paul

It's from a Tom Lehrer song, Lobachevsky.

Analytic and algebraic topology of locally Euclidean parameterization of infinitely differentiable Riemannian manifold

Long ago, I missed the para-, so AATLEMIDRM.

    Hi Paul and welcome.

Are you sure it is not "metrization"? That would make sense, I think. And if it is, your username is correct after all!!

It does make sense, sort of, but do I sense a revolt against the good imperial system of her majesty in favor of the frenchie metric? Don't tell me you don't use that system in the commonwealth anymore... here in the colonies we do... speaking of which I think I need a quart of whiskey... or did i already finished that

anyways, welcome paul, don't mind us

Your explanation for your screen name is way over my uneducated head but welcome to SRP anyway.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I can't remember any of Tom Lehrer's songs, but I can remember myself enjoying them.

    Further I admit not.
