I remember many moons ago wen I was in the army everybody tried to get their bayonet or their Kbar to shave, a lot of irritated skin trying to make that work, though it could be done.

Thats Funny did the same thing and yup the face was raw for a couple of days. and then two weeks ago I was honing one of my Benchmade automatics when this little punk kid (PFC) comes in and starts talking trash about how I am just wasting my time doing that when they have all those real nice kits out there. Well I asked him if i could see his arm as tupidly he pulled his sleeve up and revealed this nice black hairy thing more hair on his arm than on my head. and then I asked if I could give it a try. stupid says yeah it aint gonna do nutting and now he has this real nice bald patch from just insde the elbow to his wrist no nicks scratches or irritation and I think he was about ready to cry. then he asked how I could get knife so sharp I said easy I have to sharpen my razor to shave and I like my knives the same way LMAO now he has been coming over every night to learn how to get his knife sharp and he has been very intent on learning it also i might add just might make a str8 user out of him yet.

Thanked: 0so you probably could shave with just about anything with a blade, so long as it's sharp?

Well i guess but it would probably look like hell and feel even worse. I have been sharpening things since i was a wee lad and have had lots of time to figure out what works for me and my blades that I do use. But may I/ WE ask what you are intending to use
