I use the TNT when setting the bevel. Once the bevel is set and I can see through a 30x eye loupe that it is uniform and all the same color I no longer use the TNT. I go to the TPT. This was taught to me by Randydance and it has worked very well. I also might mention that as a persons shaving technique improves with practice the shaves will get better.

An inexperienced shaver who is not familiar with skin stretching, manipulating the razor, and blade angle may get a poor shave from an shave ready razor. Be careful stropping as well. A shave ready edge can be ruined in a stroke on a strop if the strop is not held taut and the spine kept flat as you turn the blade. Lotta info in the Wiki tutorials.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Isn't that true. But on the plus side you are guaranteed to get at least what you pay for (in money, time, and effort).

I suppose some people have no problem shaving after testing the edge on their thumbnail, I'm not one of them though.
