Hello im junior from ohio and im new to the fold just got my first razor yesterday.

Welcome! If you haven't got a strop already; that's the first thing you'll need. Try checking out the classifieds, or one of Tony Miller's Strops from thewellshavedgentleman.com.

Also, as said before; do take the time to check out the Wiki, it's full of helpful information.
