I have seen these razors for sale for around $160. You may want to ask the seller for a discount if you want. I also believe that after proper honing your razor will perform well. Concerning the strop, many people would recommend not to spend too much on your first strop as you are likely to dent it as you develop your technique. I can recommend the one I have (~$30) if you would like. A good option for brush is the Crabtree and Evelyn small best badger brush (130291) on sale right now for $28. Creams are fairly personal items and it is hard to make suggestions but there is a new place in Canada (Calgary), Rasage Poulin (they have an ad in the vendor's corner):
