on my way to a great shave but then...oops
I cut myself in my chin when I was shaving my lower lip WTG...I'm not realy sure why it happened.. I guess I wasnt paying enough attention. went to the movies last night and woke up to early.. a bit of a hurry because my GF wanted to do some shopping and I had to take care of my son..
it didnt hurt but it was kind of a bummer... I bled quit a bit but I thought I would just lather up and do the xtg and some part ATG. the bleeding stopped and the rest of the shave wasnt that bad...

I saw a video of Lynn shaving. If I remember correctly he makes a small cut and uses alum on it. He has been doing this, I believe since 1973. No pain, no stitches, who cares, right? ;-) Keep it up.

Thanked: 1212Yeah, don't worry about it. These things happen. They heal quickly. Watch out that the edge doesn't catch into the cut during the next shave, and you'll be fine.
Best regards,
Bart.

I think I'll survive and I learned a wise lesson this morning:
when in a hurry, with not enough sleep... get the DE...
It started bleeding in the evening again and looked quit dramatic while we were eating out with some friends..that realy looked silly..

Yesterday I was on my way to a great shave...
Today it was better than a great shave.
It was the best shave I EVER had..
Baby bum smooth all the way. No blood or irritation just a tingling feeling on my cheecks from the alum in the aftershave balm. Its the first shave that was better than the DE..
I started with a shower... stropped my ERN. put a hot towel on my face.. lathered up.. (cheap soap bore brush) shaved, rinsed, lathered up again, atg and xtg pass.. touchup on chin and extra pass on upperlip, rinsed with warm water, and then cold.. aftershave balm.. and let my GF feel the smoooooothnes...
BBS shave.. priceless
Thank you all for your help and advice!
