Spike point
I just got a shave-ready spike point in the mail, right AFTER I shaved of course, so now I am just trying to get my beard to grow as fast as possible.
But, back to spikes, are they very different to use? And what things should I take in to consideration, using it?

Thanked: 95Just pay attention to where the spike is, and you'll be fine!
They are not that difference to use, the only difference is that is that it's easier to get cut if you don't pay attention when you move the blade around your face.

depends whether its a true spike or a squarepoint. Some use the term interchangeably but the squarepoint usually has the very end with either a rounding or at least muted somewhat as opposed to the true spike which is, well, a spike. Either way just be aware where the spike is at all times so you don't dig it into your skin otherwise its the same as any other razor and the squarepoint even more so.
