Thanked: 0n00b here, razor question
Hello,
I am going to start shaving with a straight razor as soon as I can assemble all the required equipment and I was wondering if this razor will work well for a new user? My intentions to start is that I want a more natural shaving experience and I have been told that it is easier on the skin (I have sensitive facial skin). Anyways, thanks for the help.

Yes, that is a great razor. It must be honed prior to use though. They offer "pre-honing" on that site.

+1 with AF. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend getting a copy of Lynn's CD. It's a great investment for the beginner, with over 3 hours of information covering most aspects of the straight razor including shaving.

Great Blade to start with!
Absolutely go for it! You will need to get it honed (pre-hone option on the site or send it to your choice of honemiester on the site here).

I dont see how you can go wrong!
