Thread: Trying to Find a store that carries a strop in IL... Help!

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, for Christmas I purchased everything my boyfriend would need for straight razor shaving except a strop, I thought he could order online, well, he wants to get one TODAY, and ive called several places in the Chicago Illinois area and though they carry straight shaving supplies a strop is not one of them. We are at his parents in a suburb of Chicago (Batavia) and he is trying to find a place in the suburbs that might carry them but so far our online search has found few results. My question is are there any places that anyone knows of in the Chicago Illinois area that would carry leather strops?
I would be ever so thankful if anyone has any suggestions. Apparently Oakbrook is quite the hub for shops but i cant find any that carry strops (i probably just don't know how to look properly).

a co-worker said Merz Apothecary - Home has them. i'm not sure of the brands they carry.

Yes I did call them and they said they carried them, He wants something in a suburb because of parking in downtown. I think this is going to be as good as he can get. Thanks so much for the fast reply
