I receved a shave kit for christmas from my wife , Its a country uncle, its a six piece kit
well to make a long storie short i shaved with it the first time it was ok .But today i shaved again and it seemed like it did'nt cut as good . More like pulling hair then cutting it .Well heres the question does any one know if the razor , A fromm 72 r came shave ready. I tried to look it up on the internet .
I found the kit but it does not say that the ravor is shave ready. And i stroped the razor before i used it

Probably needs honed and once that is done you may need to work on your technique.PM Sent

Newbie as well and 10 shaves in. The hair test has been the hot ticket for me after stropping.
    Mine did come honed though.

Most of the time if a razor has been honed there will be either a note or a sticker on the box stating who honed it...

Those newer Fromm's are a very hard steel, and a little tricky to hone up.. But from the responses back I have received, they hold their edge well....
