Hey fellas. I'd like to start off by saying SRP rocks ! I've been reading & trying to absorb all the info in this forum. I've come to the conclusion that straight razor shaving is a skilled trade. I've been looking to purchase my first straight razor for the past couple of months. But, my wife beat me to it. She bought me a Thiers-Issard , 5/8 carbon steel Hollow Ground w/ stainless steel handle. I'm not too familiar w/ this brand. For it being my first SR I'm good with it. I'm now in the market for a good hanging strop & brush for a SR newb. Gonna hold off on the hone for now. Any input would be greatly appreciated. THNX...
