Thread: First try.. Dry run on Lather

Well I just got a Boar Brush & a cake of soap and tried to make a nice lather.


Here Is what I did. It has to much water ( Not enuff soap) but it was just a dry run. The soap is Van Der Hagen Deluxe w/ Aloe Vera & Shea Butter. The Brush is also Van Der Hagen.



Since I just started with str8 razor shaving I started with cream from a can. Right now I'm waiting on 2 Wapi's Razors from Hoglahoo-Lee So more pic's to follow.

BTW the dish is stone ware soup bowl. I need to find the lid.

Congrats! I should get a bowl like that! i use a stainless steel bowl.

Don't have any of them. Tomorrow I'm going to boil some water then pour some in to the bowl to warm it. Dump out the water after brush had soaked for the time of me taking a shower. Lather up some, this time I'll load the brush more. I guess I'll also shave with my Tomahawk till the wapi's come.

The handle really helps with holding the bowl. It felt good in the hand, So dropping it would be hard. I know this stone ware holds heat. I used this bowl for soap lots of times.
