I an new to the board and would like to say THANKS to Classic Shaving and Vintage Blades! Great service!

Due to a skin condition I have been shaving with a straight for some time. Recently though my trusty old Fromm just would respond to stropping as well it had previously. I ordered a Norton 4k/8k combo from Vintage Blades, and a few items from classic including an array of strop pastes.

As soon as my packages arrived I immediately grabbed my trusty Fromm 72R which needed just a touch-up (I thought!) and went to work! Mind you I have been very happy with this blade. A little strop here, a little strop there, and its been a nice relationship. But now! MWA HA HA! I have work to do!!!

Light as feather I hit it 5 times on the soaked Norton4k from Vintage....10 times on the 8k....Strop Strop Strop ...and now....THE PIXIE DUST FROM CLASSIC.... .25 Diamond paste on the strop.

Mind you everyone says this stuff can make a aggressive shave but what the heck. I've been shaving for years

All I can say is I am spoiled rotten!

Nice handle. I can't believe that one hadn't been taken yet. Now you can look at every whisker and tell them, "Time to die"!
