    An Engels off of ebay. I paid $53 with the razor, soap, mug, brush, stand. Did I do ok????

    That's a sweet looking razor. Congrats! Might want to put a new knot in that brush though, handle looks cool, or just get yourself a more modern one.

    I'd say you did quite well. I've heard great things about those FWE's.

    Excellent purchase. With another $25 -30, you should have it shave ready, if it is not already. Add a strop, pretty good deal.

    I have an Engels exactly like that one. It's one of my best shavers.

    search badger hair knots... i figure just dig out the old one and glue another in with marine glue. they have'm on ebay and you can googl it. that is a nice razor and setup...
