i would expect that whatever values there are are somewhat outdated and not quite applicable to most of us who place more importance on the blade than on the scales and the rarity.

Thanked: 488It looks like an interesting book. I just wondered if it was a widely read one with good info. I want to get better at recognizing values and quality. Think this would be a good place to start or are there better ones out there?

It would certanly aid you.But as stated, the guys who made this book are diehard collecters. That meens that they emphasise on the rarity of the razors, and differend oddeties in scales. Not so much the quality of the blade and if they are good shavers. But if that is your thing, go for it

Thanked: 488Not really interested in the hi dollar collector stuff. I mainly want to know about the quality shavers. Really most of what I need to know is on here in stickies and from all the folks on here:-)
