Thread: Hey I'm Agarr

Hello every body,
I'm Agarr (A. Garrison). I've been using a straight for about a year,but I just stumbled onto the forum. It's a great place full of info...infor I wish I had had starting out. I've been very lucky and only nicked myself once. Well that's about all i have to say on the subject of myself, but If you got Questions I'll answer.

welcome Agarr!! we seem to be in about the same boat as i have been shaving for around the same amount of time as you and didn't know about these forums when i started (which was totally my fault since i bought a kit from Tony Miller and the instruction sheet actually had this site on it ha!). so it sounds like you have made a good start to things shavingwise. this place really helped me with my shaves and is still helping me learn all the time.

I tend to cut myself when I rush. If I take my time and pay attention, things tend to go more smoothly.

What is the secret of nicking yourself only once? Is it related to not knowing of this forum? If so I may have to get my memory erased.

Not knowing about the forum didn't help. I just take my time, and stay confident. The information in the forum helps a lot. But my dad used to shave with a straight, and gave me some pointers. I wouldn't reccomend bail in on the forum though... at all

Well, the meaning of life is simple...to achevie something greater than ones self. For me that's to learn about and become more like my Hevenly father, but i'm a Mormon. For you it may be to have a family, or shave really well. Idk each man must find his own path and stick to it.
