    100 laps on the 4K is a lot. You possibly over honed. First use the Thumb Nail Test (TNT) to find out what the edge feels like.As suggested run your razors edge gently thru some soft wood about 5 times. Perform the TNT again. Then go back to the 4K and do 5 back honing strokes, spine leading this time. Then the TNT again. It should feel a lot more uniform in how it bites into the nail and any wire edge should be gone.

    Now perform a conservative pyramid and check with the Thumb Pad Test frequently ( not the TNT). Strop for 50 laps and test shave. It should be better.
    When your honing, go slow. It takes me 1 second to make a pass in one direction. If you go to fast, most people do, your edge is not making contact with the hone in a consistent manner. Use only the amount of pressure needed to keep the razor flat on the hone, no more than that.
