Thread: Finally Placed my order

Well I fially placed my order today for the 6/8 DOVO Special, Tortise. I spoke with Don from SRD on the phone and he even educated me on a few things. Now I need to figure out everything else I want/need.

Mike, I just bought the same razor from SRD and I love it. I'm still learning (as my face will testify), but I was very, very pleased with the Dovo and the quick service from Don and Lynn.

As to shaving, I'm just using the strop (leather and linen), and the shave just keeps getting better. Most of my face is BBS, and the rest is just being akward with the ever changing grain of my wiskers. I'm sure this will improve with more practice.

SRD ships all there razor shave ready and it is included in the price already too, another good thing about buying a razor from them

Good choice in vendor and razor.

I have one of same and it will always be in the rotation. I like the way it holds, the way it shaves, and the way it looks. I think the scales are the classiest going: tasteful and traditional push all my razor buttons.

The SRD service is so fast that you'll swear that Lynn and Don read your mind .

Thanks guys, I cant wait to get started.Im not going to shave till my new razor gets here. I know I probally will not get to do my whole face the first couple times around but I want to make sure I have something to work with.
