After years of dragging a cheap electric razor across my face every morning, I decided to return to wet shaving. After doing some research I purchased the various components required to shave with, and maintain, a straight razor. And thus began the process of figuring out how to get a proper shave.

Following SRP's advice I started out with only shaving my sideburn/jaw area. After becoming comfortable with that I tried to move on to other parts of the face. This is where I've run into trouble.

I am finding it difficult to maintain a 30 degree angle while shaving around the chin and lip areas. Is there a certain trick for this, or is it simply a matter of practice?
