    Firstly, because decent kit will at least rule out the ' is it me or is it the razor question' . Secondly, if you continue, you've got something good to use and if not you can sell it. Buying cheap often means buying twice.
    +1. And good quality doesn't always = high price, keep an eye on the classifieds and you could probably pick up a good shave-ready Genco or the like for a reasonable price.

    just dont follow anything from sweeny todd i walked into the room when my brother and his gf were watchig it and he was stropping with the spine following at like 30 degree angle so i laughed and left.
