Learned something tonight
Had a good shave with my str8 this evening, still finishing up with my DE as this is only my first week after getting the properly honed blade back BUT, as I went to attack my chin for a second pass I felt the blade dragging so gave it twenty or so light laps on the strop and it was like night and day. It just slid across my face and cut so nicely I could scarcely believe the difference. Nice to have made some progress in my feeling for the blade and my stropping abillity!

After 5 months of straights I finally added an extra 30 laps when I started on my lip and chin area. Yeah, it really makes a difference for me too.
