    Smile Swaty Alumin Hone - First hone purchase - Pics

    How did I do with my first hone purchase on eBay? Seems to be in perfect shape with no chips of dings. Looks like it was never or slightly used.

    $52.00 shipped. I know I probably paid too much, but I am happy with my purchase. It's nice to see something that was manufactured so long ago look as good as it does now. Probably sat in a box full of old stuff for years. I wonder when this one was made? The box just says Swaty was founded in 1879 but not the year it was produced.

    52.00 is a little expensive in my book but I have heard nothing but good things about swatys, and have seen them sell for more!

    That's what I thought too. I really liked that it came with the box and was not all beat up. I have seen some not so pretty ones go for more without the box. I'm a sucker for old stuff
