I'm here to learn. And I've come to the right place.
I'll just be a quiet lurker for a while. One of my best memories of my grandfather when we visited him was to get a glimpse of him in his suspenders working with his straight razor and a towel over his shoulder. I have always loved a good wet shave, and I want to learn all I can so I can continue to move forward. I'm looking forward to the learning process.

Welcome to SRP and the wonderful world of the straight razor shave ! See the SRP Wiki in the toolbar above. Click on that and scroll down for tutorials on all that you will need to know for successful shaving with a straight.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

welcome
i don't know if we can help with the suspenders, but i would imagine you can start a thread in the 'finer things in life' section.... I'm sure we have a couple of members of your grandfather's age....

A hearty welcome to SRP, and the right way shave. Please look around, read the Wiki and the remaining forums, and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Welcome brothers. One of the reasons I started Straight Shaving was that if my father and grandfathers shaved with a straight I should be able to. Have fun and good luck.
