    You can no more use Zeepk strops for practice stropping, than Zeepk razors for practice honing.

    I have never held a Zeepk strop before, but you might be able to scrape and sand the surface and make something useable out of it. As long as the leather isn't dry rotted, it should work.

    It might be ugly, but it should work.

    I have a razor and strop coming from Kenrup and was just wondering if the
    Z could be of any use and what part of it was. Couriosity ? how come it's so bad and I see on the forum that some guys just buy a piece of leather or weight belt and seems to work OK? I truly am not trying to defend the strop because I see so much advice from all you long time users but just inquisitive.
