I was curious typically how many passes should you use on an 8k of the norton stone? I some some say depends on the steel, the razor, the brand and whatever. Well I have a 5/8 Dovo Solingen Perlex that is stainless steel hollow ground. I just want a range because I haven't got it to shave good yet and I hear some people say you might have to use up to 100 passes, but I was wondering if that's considered overhoning? I just want a range of how many passes before it might be able to pass the hht?
