    Nice strop BTW.
Is it? I wouldn´t really know... What's good about it? :P

I know that there are Honemeisters in Europe.. the problem is that I know what the Spanish mail is like things go missing ALL the time so I would have to insure it and then it would need to be shipped back insured which is likely to get more than a little expensive However when i looked through the classifieds there doesn´t seem to be any located really anywhere near Spain, or am I looking in the wrong place somehow?

That is known as a loom strop. You can turn the handle clockwise to tighten the strop. The one side is treated in your case with what looks like a red paste which will sharpen more aggressively then the plain leather side.

Before you shave the next time you might want to do some stropping. Maybe 10 round trips on the red side and another 30 on the leather. You can find out more about correct stropping here.

I am not sure if there are any other forum members in Spain. If there are perhaps one of them could advise you on where to get products in the area and where you might find someone reliable to hone you razor.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
