    Default stroup nicks

    guys,

    I got my stroup nicked just a tad today. Does that render that portion unusable, will it dull the blade if I stroup on it?

    Your thoughts....

    I don't think so. The usual solution is to use pumice stone to smooth again that part and perhaps condition it a bit.

    I believe it's spelled strop, but there are others who used to insist on strap.
