    Yea sorry.

The hair grows in a spiral, so which ever way you go your allways going against the grain. It's uncomfortable with normal razors and freakin kills with an electric razor.

I had a similar difficulty, since the hair on my neck grows in every which direction.

However, I've found that with some clever skin stretching, a very light touch, and angled (diagonal-direction) strokes, I can more or less consistently get all those hairs with little to no irritation.

    Good luck! Hope that helps!

You will just have to experiment with stretching the skin in different directions and blade angles to see what gives you the closest and most comfortable shave. No two faces are the same so you just have to see what works best for you.

i have one on both sides of my neck pretty much under my ear lobe. i just reduce the angle and keep it light, and obviously try to stretch the skin. i used to get irritation and ingrown hairs there but the angle thing seems to have worked for me.

PS any idea why it's called a car flick? or a cow lick for that matter

Cheers I'll give it a go. Not to sure why it's named the way it is. I'll look it up though

Cheers for the advice again. I spelt it wrong. Actually calf-lick. So called after cows licking there young and causing the hair follicles to grow in a spiral manner.
