Thread: I met Lynn!

I live about 10 min from Lynn and he mentioned how since we live so close I could pick up my SRD order from him. So I did that yesterday and left rather humbled. I stopped by and was let in the home by his wife, a super nice lady and made me feel welcome. As I walked in I was like, Hey, here's the kitchen in the DVD! When Lynn came around the corner hegave me a warm welcome and basically said, 'Ok, heres your order, let's see what you got.'

Well my order of a Dovo imitation tortoise and strop was soon opened up and I was getting a lesson on each. But not only did Lynn take time out to talk about each product, he took me upstairs to his bathroom and showed me how to strop, hold and care for the razor. Priceless advice, I was like a sponge. I must also say it was quite impressive to see the array of razors and brushes, and the talk eventually went to aquisition dissorders. He showed some other razors and such and then some soaps. I was then floored when he handed me a couple of soaps to try out. I mean, I was expecting to show up to the house, get a 'Thank you for your order.' and that be it. But Lynn took quite a bit of time with me and answered all my questions. I felt bad when we came downstairs and there was some food in the frying pan waiting to be served and eaten, but Lynn thought nothing of it.

In the short time I have been a member here, I'm amazed at how forthcoming people have been to be helpfull.

So thanks again Lynn, and thanks everyone for being so helpfull so far.

Wish i lived close to you guys as well, would have visited you BOTH haha

Your a lucky guy to have had the privledge of meeting him. I would expect nothing less then your experience based on the communications I have had and ALL the numerous postings there have been about him.

Thanks Lynn for being there for that young man! I am sure that it stay with him a while.
