Thread: My first razor to hone!

Well second but the first was just a touch up on a sharp razor. This is the first razor I have sharpened my self. It was in great shape when I got it but it was damn sure not shave ready. I took it to the hones and brought a nice edge to it. I then took it to the strop and got it to pass the HHT. This was last night. Well tonight I took the razor to the ultimate test, my face. I did normal prep just a wash and normal soap lather. I did my wtg pass and all was good. Next I went straight to atg pass and once again all was good. I got a great shave and a great big smile on my face. There was zero hair pulling and the blade just slide across my face and right through the stubble. I got the razor last week at an antique store.
