Thread: My first shave

Well the day has come.
Hello Mr. mailman :-)
I've bought two razors and was expecting my really shave ready to come first, but it didnt.
Lark came first, when I was taking pictures I saw it's made in China...hmm.
I've honed and stroped it on my improv equipment.
The shave wasnt so bad but I couldn't shave my neck really well.
I've done WTG+XTG on some places, the blade pulled a bit, but that didn't stop me from enjoying my first shave :-)
Can't wait for my Solingen Tennis so I can compare and try to sharpen my Lark proper.

welcome goc. invest in some entry level equipment when you can a good strop,brush and soap. i do not know your honing skills but you could send it to a honemeister to get the feel of how it is supposed to shave
