I just got my fist straight from Seraphim. It was beautiful, better than I could have imagined. Shave ready but I decided to sterilize it again just to be safe. OK so I misread the srpwiki. I did a 10-20minute soak in ethanol and yeah that should have been enough. But not for me, I was fool hardy. I went for a second wash with clorox. UH OH. That right I used a weak bleach solution, without thinking it through, and the wiki say clorox(but it also says NO BLEACH afterwards) should of double checked before I started but didn't cos I was all excited to shave with it.
Now the blade is still functional but far less pretty as it has little blemish spots (oxidation) all over. I am SAD, and not 'cos I keep buying strops.
So now to the question, what is the best way to polish out the spots?
