Thanked: 0Dovo Shavette?
The first razor i bought was a kreiger straight before I really did any research and, it was disappointing to say the least. I just bought a Dovo Shivette with the disposable blades and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these. Are they a good starter razor? or should I take the dive and buy a more expensive straight? Below is a link to the Shivette I bought if it helps.

Thanked: 234Personally I've found it a good way to get into the technique with out worrying too much about all the other aspects of the shave. I would say I've had pretty good results.
I'm a noob as well, and while it would be nice to have a 'proper' straight, I'm glad I went the no nonsence route initially. I will probably keep it for travelling.
Good luck!
