    Default New to SRP

So I've been a B&B guy since I started wet shaving (about a month ago now). I started with a straight and haven't looked back. I have just begun my foray into restorations, and I have found so much good information over here that I thought it would behoove me to go ahead and join the party at SRP.

So, here I am: a young wet shaver and a honing/restoration newbie. Just thought I'd introduce myself before I started battering some of you straight-shaving veterans with questions.

    Hello & welcome to SRP,
You're jumping right in then! Restorations can be frustrating, but the rewards make up for that.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Thanks, fellas.

I found a 5/8 Joseph Allen & Sons wedge on ebay for less than $10 shipped. Its not perfect, but I don't think it will take much. I've been wanting to shave with a wedge for some time now, so I'm pretty anxious to get this under way.

I also picked up a couple of Double Arrows to mess around with. I've heard these things can make pretty good shavers with a little work. I intend to find out.

    Smile Welcome, Adam

Questions are always welcomed and it's a good thing too considering what we usually do to badgers.
