This will be my final update and I'll start posting in the appropriate sections:

I got the Dovo Micarta. The company messed up and sent me the black scales versus the white scales I ordered. But, I'm not picky. I'll keep it. However, I did call and complain. This is the second time they messed up my order and they are now in the Dog Pound as far as I'm concerned. I have only ordered 3 times from them. WOOF!

The Dovo was by far the best shave I've ever had! With the Feather I so much as get one skip and I bleed. The Dovo doesn't do that. The only skip I got was when I was making funny faces while pulling taught. I have a hard time relaxing when I pull taught.
I think the pressure I'm applying is a little gentle as I'm used to the Feather no pressure policy. But, none the less even with a couple of swipes the Dovo came through with no nicks or irritation. Face was still a little rough after the ATG pass but I believe that to be a pressure related problem more so than sharpness. As for the ATG pass on the neck I still have problems as it hurts (rough) and even though the razor glides with no skips I start getting little blood dots all over my neck instantly, so I fall back on my Fusion or Mach 3 for the neck ATG pass.
The 5/8 was a perfect size and I can see why everyone here recommends it. Thank you all for the recommendations in this thread and others alike. I'm certain that straight razor shaving has found a place in my bathroom and has given me a chance to fight back against the forces of the ladies cosmetic countertop domination. I will be around with many more questions over time and maybe one day some answers to help others.
