    Default str8s #2, & 3.

I just got a pair of Dovo's from SRD in the mail today. A Best Quality 5/8 and a Dovo Special imitation tortoise 5/8. Probably won't shave with one until tomorrow though. (Oh, who am I kidding; probably gonna go shave before supper.) They are considerably lighter weight than my Wapi; this could be the start of a beautiful relationship. And the grips on the tang (are these jimps?) are nice too. Although, I love my Wapi and was hoping to make str8 razor # 4 another Wapi but it looks like Kenrup is sold out.
Any of you guys have one you want to get rid of let me know.

Kenrup may get some more Wapis in the near future. Also, you may want to experiment with other blades before you start buying several of the same razor, variety is sometimes the key. If your interest in Wapis persist, one thing that you may want to do is to place a WTB (wanted to buy) add in the classified section.

That is true about trying different blade types. Hadn't really thought about it. I am looking to buy a hone in the near future and start down that road with the Wapi. I would just like to have a reserve in case I have to send one off for some corrective honing. Thanks for the advice Al raz.

Good luck with your new blades and enjoy them! The wapi is good but I think you will like the Dovo just as much.

first shave with the Dovo went well. Feels much different. I like the weight difference, but I like the blade of the Wapi better so far. But after only one shave I am sure that that is a premature judgement.
