    Default Daily Storage

    Good afternoon SRP,

I was just curious what you guys used to store your razors during the day. I dont need anything too fancy just somewhere safe to keep them so as not to knock them off my dresser and nick them or cut my toes off.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I usually just put them on a shelf in my room. After use I leave them open for a few hours but apart from that don't do anything special.
I do have cases but find it too time consuming to use them (also I am scared that I might not have dried them properly and since the cases are closed this would eventually lead to rust).

I found a toothbrush/accessory stand at Bed Bath and Beyond that works well for me. It is stainless steel and holds 3 straights and I lay my most recently used shaving brush on it's side in a little cubby at the top of the stand to dry. It cost 15 bucks I think.

My girlfriend got me an Amish Razor box or a barbers box or something for my birthday, it holds 20 razors upright and i use that to store the ones I'm not using at that moment. It keeps them safe and hidden.

Shaving mugs. Lots and lots of shaving mugs. After use I rinse the razor in hot water, dry with a microfiber cloth, and leave open on the dresser for several hours to finish drying in the air. Then, into the assigned mug. No rust, ever.
