    yeah, thanks, I wondered about 0000 steel wool, I have some in the gun cabinet, I will try that...I have removed most of the rust from 4-5 razors, there is some deep pitting on some of the blades, but at this point, I am not looking for something pretty, just something that will make a good shave. I can build a collection of pretty razors as time goes on, I just want something that can be serviceable. I will post pics of the sanded razors soon (once I get my lazy ass to the store to get some batteries) to get some more opinions.
