Thanked: 10No, you cannot see them on these 2 shots I'm afraid although knowing where they are I can just about make out some marks. I would need a more sophisticated camera which could focus in on the upper section. On the second shot I tried to improve the angle so that the light brought out the inscriptions as it does to the naked eye.

"Those tiny numbers are fascinating! I don't think they are servicing numbers, more likely
pawnshop numbers. I have seen quite a few razor scales with this numbering on, but
never one with so many! Lots of people of this razor's era - probably early 1900's -
lived from day to day and the pawnshop was a lifeline. A razor would be quite
valuable in real terms then, and it looks like this one was regularly pawned and
redeemed. A fascinating bit of social history - don't ever change the scales!"
