Yeah Rich, but for the majority of people 5/8 is the best option, the most razors are made in this size, followed by 6/8, so I consider it the standard.
Eventually it is a personal preference which can also change with time for the same person, but I think it's always best to start with the standard option unless there are particular reasons not to.

Looks like several nice razors out on the "classifieds" right now. Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have gone the "in-house" method and purchased my first razor from someone that I knew, not through ebay. I think you will find to a man/women, folks on here stand behind their products and ensure you are happy with the results. I've not had one issue with anything I bought/traded on here.
